Participating in the SEDONA PUBLIC LIBRARY Summer Reading Program will help build your child's interest in reading, language and learning.

Register yourself first and then register your children under your account.

Join us for infant/toddler story time in the children's room every Thursday at 10:30 a.m.

Online? Offline?             Or do both!


  • Register here!  Start logging June 3.

  • Add titles and share comments about some of the books you have read with your child.  Also online, it is easy to record your time spent reading. 


  • Pick up your summer activity packet from the Children's Room after June 1.

  • Complete the 25 early literacy activities and 5 hours of reading aloud with your child.

  •  Receive a personalized 'Sedona Library Summer Reading Program' certificate, a free book and an entry for the July 29th draw.




Frequently Asked Questions

Who can participate?  Babies, toddlers, preschoolers, children, teens, adults — everyone!  Children too young to read by themselves are welcome to participate by having a parent or caretaker sign them up and read to them.

Can I count e-books?   Of course! It’s all the same to us.

Can I count time that I spend reading to my kids?  For sure! 

Can I count audiobooks?  You bet!

Can I count the time that I spend reading a book even if I don’t finish it?  Absolutely! Ten minutes is ten minutes.

Can I join the program after its official start date?
You bet! And if you can remember any reading that you’ve done after the official start date, you’re welcome to go back and count that

Can I count reading that I’ve done before the official start date?  Actually, we do ask that you count only reading you’ve done within the official dates of the program.
